How does DIY-Plans work?
- Search and find the best plan for you.
- Purchase and download the plan to your computer.
- Build the project according to the plan and material list.
How do I receive my plans?
Simply find your plan, add it to the cart, and checkout. Once that is complete, it will take you to a page that shows the plan and the material list available for download. Just click and it will ask you to save it to your computer. Your receipt and the plan links are also emailed to you for safekeeping.
What is included when I purchase plans?
Each plan includes everything you will need to build the complete project. This includes: 3d illustrations, color elevation views, detailed step by step instructions, color photos, a list of tools and materials you will need, and tips and tricks. No hardware or physical materials is included.
Can I get a refund?
We understand that customers come first. We guarantee our plans for life. If you mistakenly purchased the incorrect plan, we will work with you to exchange it for a different one. If you feel like our product has been misrepresented, we will give you a full refund. We strive to provide the best customer service so we deal with each situation individually. If you are unhappy with something, we will do our best to remedy the situation.
What if I need help during the building process?
We have an ever expanding online tutorial and forum area that may have the answer you are looking for. You can also email us and we will do our best to help. We have over 40 years of licensed general contracting experience so feel free to ask us any questions.
Do you mail plans?
We do sell some plans through third party sites like Amazon and Ebay. They require that each plan is post mailed. We ship each plan in PDF format on a CD.
What size paper do I need in order to print the plans?
A standard piece of paper. (8 1/2??X 11??
Do the plans come ready to build?
Our plans are some of the most detailed plans available. Remember to verify all building requirements with your local city building department and homeowners association.
Am I buying a one time use license?
Yes, your purchase is only licensed for a single project. It can not be used to build multiple projects. It is strictly forbidden to resell, gift, or publish any plans on the internet.
